Safety Plan
South Side Street Fest will launch this summer as a public-private partnership designed to create a more welcoming, safer South Side. Through coordinated programming and neighborhood engagement, the initiative aims to enhance the visitor experience while supporting local businesses and residents.

Across the country, communities have successfully revitalized commercial and entertainment districts by combining three key elements: enhanced safety, meaningful activations that attract a broader audience, and coordinated public-private investment.
