BUS ROUTES + DETOURS
During South Side Street Fest, East Carson Street will be closed to vehicle traffic between 12th Street and 18th Street every Friday and Saturday night from 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM. As a result, Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) bus routes that normally travel through this section of East Carson Street may be temporarily detoured around the event footprint.

All Stops listed above are the same, but for the very first inbound stop – the inbound 51 Carrick stops on S. 18th at East Carson Street before beginning the detour.
54 North Side-Oakland-South Side
This route, though it uses S. 18th Street and East Carson to and from same, will be unaffected as it will not encroach into the closure area. For reference, it’s main stops to go to Oakland would be South 18th at East Carson; heading to Mt. Oliver and Bon Air, its stop would be on S. 18th Street at Sarah. (This bus route will not need to be detoured).
